Ilona is the author of When I Ran Away and Little Prisons. She has written for Stylist, The Guardian, and Lit Hub and has been featured on NPR.  Ilona was a dual qualified US attorney and UK solicitor and practiced immigration law in the UK before she started writing fiction. 

 

Although she will always be a New Yorker at heart, Ilona's home is in London with her husband and young sons.
